Yet another change is about to occur with my band. As of this past week, I need a new guitar player. We have also decided to add a rhythm guitar. While I'm very excited to listen to the auditions, I'm frustrated that things are once again up in the air until we find the right musicians. I had thought we were doing really well as a group. Everyone seemed content and happy with things. Apparently this wasn't the case. My guitar player has decided to pursue other interests. We only wish that we would've known that he wasn't dedicated to the group earlier on. However, I believe there is a reason for everything and I certainly have been able to learn something from every musician I've ever worked with. It hasn't been a waste of time and I refuse to view it as such.
I am so grateful for the musicians that are currently in my band. They really are talented and on top of everything, they are great people. I hope to find similar qualities in our new guitar players.
